2018 Carignane-Mourvedre

We made this wine a couple years ago and have been sitting on it, letting it mellow out.  “No wine before it’s time!”, right?   This blend is complex and layered with dark fruits and dried figs with a bit of strawberry too.  Dried oregano and coffee are wafting around your glass and then sip and find a delightful taste with black tea-like tannins.

Try this wine with grilled meats or have it with Le Roule, a soft cow’s milk cheese rolled around herbs and garlic.  Drink within six years.
