2021 Cinsaut
Cinsaut is a bit of an oddball in the vineyard. It produces huge oval grapes that resemble black olives making it a great eating grape too. It, however, doesn’t seem to ripen gradually. Instead, all of a sudden it has great flavor when the day before it seemingly had none.
This Cinsaut has fresh ripe strawberries, cherries and currants. Look for violets, fennel pollen and caramel aromatics too. It’s silky in the mouth with a toasty finish.
