2022 Cinsaut
Cinsaut is a bit of an oddball in the vineyard. It produces huge oval grapes that resemble black olives making it a great eating grape too. It, however, doesn’t seem to ripen gradually. Instead, all of a sudden it has great flavor when the day before it seemingly had none.
This Cinsaut is a light, pretty colored wine with dried figs, raspberry, blueberry and lemon fruits. Further aromatics of floral lilies and fresh oregano are met with a velvety mouth feel, soft tannins and a long bright, fruity finish.
