2023 Cinsaut
Cinsaut is a bit of an oddball in the vineyard. It produces huge oval grapes that resemble black olives making it a great eating grape too. It, however, doesn’t seem to ripen gradually. Instead, all of a sudden it has great flavor when the day before it seemingly had none.
This vintage has a beautiful ruby color with pomegranate syrup, cherry and strawberry aromatics. You’ll also notice chili powder, dried dill and violet highlights. It’s very broad in the mouth with a long ripe, fruity and velvety finish.
